CS|NRI – Composite Wrap Repairs

Clock Spring|NRI – Composite Wraps

ClockSpring|NRI is the world’s leading manufacturer of permanent and temporary Composite Pipeline Repair solutions. The recent merger of Clock Spring and NRI companies provides PipeServ access to the full suite of highly engineered composite wraps – from upstream gathering or subsea lines to midstream large-diameter lines, tanks, terminals, and process piping. The new portfolio comes with the most extensive testing data in the industry and over 30 years of proven track record.

Our composite solutions address pipeline anomalies from metal loss and small deformations to large deformations, crack/crack-like features, as well as damage to process piping working in the range of -58ºF to 730ºF (-50ºC to 388ºC).

ClockSpring|NRI pipe repair systems are engineered in accordance with Australian and International Standards (AS 2885, ASME PCC2, ISO 24817, and ASTM) as a “permanent repair system” for gas and liquid pipelines.

ATLAS – Product Sheet PDF

Atlas™ is the most tested carbon fiber composite solution for the permanent repair and rehabilitation

of pipelines and piping structures. Atlas™ is highly engineered to permanently restore the original strength of pipelines suffering from both common and complex pipeline anomalies while maintaining strict compliance with corresponding regulations, codes and standards.

Atlas™ HT is the most tested, high temperature, carbon fiber composite solution for the permanent repair and rehabilitation of pipelines and piping structures operating at high temperatures up to 450°F (232°C). Atlas™ HT is engineered to restore the original strength of pipelines suffering from both common and complex pipeline anomalies while maintaining strict compliance with corresponding regulations, codes, and standards.

Applications

  • External corrosion and pitting
  • Dents, gouges, and scratches
  • Weld defects and other manufacturing flaws
  • Wrinkle Bends/Deformations
  • Cracks (conditional cases)
  • Atlas HT for High Temperature Pipelines

Process Piping Repairs

Thermo-Wrap™ Inspectable is designed to work in high temperatures and is suitable for repairing damaged process piping. This solution is engineered for “inspectability” using common radiographic inspection methods. With Thermo Wrap™ Inspectable, it is possible to monitor the integrity of an in-service repair through the course of its intended design life.

Applications

  • Flare lines, blowdown lines, steam piping, chemical processing lines
  • Girth welds
  • Elbows, tees, flanges
  • High-temperature environments to 160°C (320°F)
