GripTight Test plugs provide safe and effective testing at working pressures up to 15,000 psi (1034 Bar). Pipe OD and ID sealing versions available.
Flange Testers are designed for quickly isolating and hydrostatically testing weld joints of any welded flange-to-pipe connection as well as isolating pipe ends during cutting, grinding and welding operations.

Open End Test Plugs
Griptight Max™ Test Plug can test pressures to 15000 PsiG (1030 BarG) and are designed for testing Hard Alloy, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and non-metallic pipe such as FRP and GRE. The plugs take minutes to install and speed up hydro-testing scopes significantly. They save over 90% in testing time vs. welded-on end cap testing procedures.
EST Group’s GripTight® Elbow Test Plug is a revolutionary new plug designed for testing long radius elbows. It can test up to 231 BarG and provides a safe and effective solution for pipe spools and piping systems that terminate in long radius elbows.
FLANGE TESTERS AND ISOLATION PLUGS
The GripTight Isolation Plug revolutionizes isolation and flange testing of pipe connections by providing unique safety features. It allows an operator to positively isolate and monitor potentially explosive vapors during “hot work”, then effectively hydrotest the new weld connection with one easy to use tool. The Gripper design makes this the safest inline isolation plug on the market.
HIGH LIFT FLANGE TESTER
EST Group’s High Lift Flange Weld Test Plug is a safe, reliable, 4-in-1 tool that enables you to carry out a weld and test it in a quicker and safer time frame. It reduces the amount of water required to carry out a flange weld test significantly. The High Lift Flange Tester lets you monitor conditions upstream of the seal, isolate and purge the weld area, complete the weld and hydro test with one tool.
DOUBLE BLOCK AND BLEED
The Double Block and Bleed (DBB) plug enables you to positively isolate and monitor potentially explosive vapors during “hot work”, then effectively hydrotest the new weld connection with one easy to use tool. The aluminum/steel construction makes the tool highly portable, and easy to position. The volume of water required for a test is so small that testing can be accomplished using a hand pump.
GRIPTIGHT REVERSE PRESSURE
Previous flange weld testing devices have been shown to apply only radial and hoop stresses to the weld location. Use of these devices for pressure testing will not adequately test or verify the axial strength of the flange-to-pipe weld. Testing performed with the GTRP is quick, easy, safe and meets the requirements of ASME/ANSI B16.5
HYDROSTATIC TEST PUMPS

Ideal for hydro testing heat exchanger tubes, pipe and pressure vessels in the field or in the shop. Available in two outputpressures, 2,500 or 10,000 PsiG (172.4 – 689.5 BarG). All wetted parts are stainless steel. It has an easy to read 4” (102 mm) diameter pressure gauge. Completely enclosed in a lockable aluminum
P-Series Hand Pump
A self-contained and portable hand pump for testing tubes, pipes, and pressure vessels. It is integrated into a 5 gallon attached reservoir which is easily refilled. The pump is hand operated, which eliminates the need for compressed air. Available in 3000 PSI and 10 000 PSI models
Blue Max 3
Suitable for all hydrostatic testing applications. Available in a
number of output pressures ranging from 1,000 – 10,000 PsiG
(68.9 – 689.5 BarG). Higher pressures available. Blue Max 3
features include all stainless steel wetted components and an easy
to read 4” diameter (102 mm) pressure gauge. It’s also supplied
with mating quick connect couplings for air inlet, water inlet and
