History of RAM100 International

RAM-100 del Sureste opened its doors with a Professional Chemical Design Plant in 1984 for the manufacture of RAM-100® products: epoxy resins and coatings. The Application Plant was inaugurated in 2005. Strategically located in Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico, this plant has the resources for the application of RAM-100® epoxy coating to interior and exterior surfaces of new or recovered pipes.

It is a fully automated facility with a 30,000 square meter storage yard for processed and unprocessed pipes, and 3,600 square meters of cutting-edge industrial facilities to clean and apply coating to interior and exterior surfaces of pipes ranging in diameter from 2- to 48-inches.

In 2008 the On-Site Automated Application Service was launched. This service is offered with an ISO-certified Automated Mobile Plant for projects which, due to the volume requirements and locations, justify the establishment of a temporary plant at the project site to apply interior and exterior coatings for pipes ranging from 2- to 28-inches in diameter.

Later in the year 2008, RAM-100 opened a Metal-Mechanic Plant for the manufacture of metal reinforcement sleeves for pipelines, RAMFILL®.

In 2013, RAM-100 International, LLC was established in the U.S. in Houston, TX, to leverage their experience in the industry, certifications for quality, processes and procedures, maintenance of regulations and standards, partnership agreements with international contractors, and reputation of being a provider of choice for anti-corrosive solutions for pipeline systems, thus becoming an international firm and aiming to serve the Oil Industry worldwide.

PipeServ was appointed the very first distributor for RAM and now provide these products and services in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. We have now assisted with the supply and installation of the RAM epoxy filled steel repair sleeves to a number of oil and gas pipelines. The RAM pipeline repair sleeves are typically installed on-line and with no need for a shutdown or pipeline cutout.
